So, IF JFK wins - does The Draft live or die? |
|
The bills: S.89 and H.R.163 are up right now.
No running to Canada, no deferrments a la Dick Cheney, and our daughters are drafted too.
Or is everyone comfortable with the new, improved Draft?
IMO this is very important, will it even be addressed?

will be no draft under President Kerry. There won't need to be because he won't overextend our military.

4. bu$h* said in his concluding statement that the military will stay |
|
"all volunteer"
Of course, we all know how well he kept his 2000 campaign promises, so it is safe to conclude that this is complete bu$h*it. But just the fact that he addressed it (however briefly) shows that he's under pressure from Kerry's "backdoor draft" statements.:bounce:
