My Father, a lifelong Republican is voting for Kerry |
|
Just spoke with him and he couldn't believe how presidential Kerry looked.
He voted Bush in 2000 but was gonna sit this one out. Now he changed his mind and doesn't mind voting for a Democrat.
People, when given just these two and a moderator will see that Kerry is a better choice.

2. mine too, he told me a couple months ago... |
|
and i was kind of wondering if he would go back to the dark side because he's surrounded by them and he's not very political. but every time bush is mentioned he always refers to him as an idiot. i think tonight sealed the deal since foreign policy is his main concern. the tide is turning

4. I have had the feeling for a while that if Kerry wins |
|
a new term will enter the lexicon: the "Kerry Democrat". Similar in concept to a "Reagan Republican"- someone who was pulled from the other side by the force of the president's personality.
Kerry does not have charisma like Clinton, but he has a certain gravity that just exudes confidence and ability.

12. You know, I typed it that way originally, and then |
|
I psyched myself out. But you get the idea.
Luckily I'm not in a debate or I would lose points for a mistake like that.

6. You may think it silly but that brought tears to my eyes! |
|
I'm just so damn happy to hear that things are turning around. People are seeing how presidential Kerry looks/sounds and that is making the difference!
I think there is a lot of the same thing that happened with your Dad tonight going on all over the country!

I'm happy for you too:)
He wasn't going to vote for Bush and was just gonna stay home on Nov 2nd. Now he's going to vote for Kerry.
If Kerry is appealing to these real southern, religious and conservative people like my dad, the future looks great:)
