CNN now spinning it as a draw
What is this shit?

Bush has "boldness and clarity"? He looked like a smirking dull high schooler!

17. CNN is worse than FOX , IMO...
because, I switched over to FOX to get the 'spin' and they were praising Kerry. CNN is the ONLY one NOT giving Kerry his due. We expect FOX to 'spin' to the right, but CNN has been going down the drain so much lately I don't watch it anymore.

19. Yeah, what is up w/ that
Even Bill Kristol on FOX seemed to be impressed with Kerry's performance. Larry King had Bill Weld and George P. Bush on. You know Weld can't stand Kerry b/c JK beat him and "P"? Well, seeing Pee talk about "my uncle" was like Dubya saying "my daddy." I can see him in thirty years pulling the old "my grampa and my uncle were presidents, so I get to be!"

Back to CNN, for Chrissakes, FOX actually seemed "fair and balanced" in comparison. Ted Turner must be horribly ashamed of them. At least they had Biden on. He's really sharp.

3. Its time to boycott CNN
Bid business is driving the network now and all they understand is money. Let those who want the chimp turn to faux and the rest of us will turn to cspan or msnbc.

4. the only draw was the blood Kerry drew from Bush
The media are falling on their sword and sacrificing even more credibility. Everyone knows that Kerry KILLED Bush tonight.

8. "Boldness and clarity"
There was nothing bold or clear (especially the latter) about *'s performance. Except that it was clear that he is a total screwup.

9. All by itself...
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 11:41 PM by Davis_X_Machina
...this is an admission by the Borg of defeat.

They have to start ooching over in the direction of objective reality.

If they were to jump all the way over to 'Not only does the emperor have no clothes, that's not even his own body!' in one fell swoop, it'd look ridiculous -- too obvious.

CNN is edging for the door, hoping no one notices.

It's the media equivalent of rolling down the driveway in neutral, so as not to wake up the wife, and waiting until you're in the street before turning the key in the ignition.

11. Ted Turner and George Soros need to team up and buy CNN back from TW
It's a travesty. Turner has got to be pissed at the way his old network is dropping the ball to become a Faux News clone. But he's said that he lost so much money from the AOL Time Warner joke of a merger that he couldn't buy CNN back as much as he might want to. Maybe he could team up with Soros?

winner, it just makes CNN look like the crock of GOPer shit, that it really is! They are cutting their own throats on this one!

16. Wait till tomorrow when they figure most of their audience didn't watch
the debate. Kerry will have failed to eliminate all the doubts about him, or something like that.

18. Draw? Seems Like CNN Missed A Good Debate. . .
Perhaps they were tuned in to some Junior Stateman of America event on local cable. Kerry pretty much destroyed Bush on Bush's purported strong subject, national security.

Bush's platitudes are mind numbing. We've all heard the "Freedom is Winning." Now we have, fight terrorism by spreading liberty. Is liberty the new code word for anarchy and destruction?
