4. This is how you know the polling is really screwy this year |
|
C'mon. I don't need to look at no poll to know how the South is going to go, or the Northeast, or the West.
People get really nuts with these statistics. Scientific polling shows us a lot, but sometimes it's easy to lose sight of reality and reason if people don't just step back for a second.

5. I knew MS was considered "in play" and I believe AL is too |
|
(though this map doesn't show it). RNC & B/C have been running campaign ads in AL, which get air time in MS & FL!
The internal polls of the RNC (and the K/E signs & bumper stickers) refelcted this before the debates.

6. I'm still waiting for some of it to return to blue... |
|
My guess is that post-debate polling will show Florida and West Virginia back in the Kerry column. Possibly Tennessee and Virginia too.
D.C. goes without saying.

10. You know, I have been noticing this.... |
|
I don't think we can take much of the south, hopefully Florida, but I doubt anything else. But I have noticed the closeness of the polls there the past fews months. In most states, it seems like we're down 50-42 or so. That is incredible folks, some of those states should be 68-32 type states. I hope this is the start of a larger trend. Like I said, I doubt we can pick up much in the South this time, but I am hoping long-term its a start of a normalization of the South's politics.
