Kerry is walking a fine line tonight because of the issue (war) |
|
He doesn't have to be so statemanlike in the next debate. Tonight he didn't want to attack Bush too harshly because of the sentiment out there that you don't attack a President during wartime BUT the gloves must come off in the next debate. Dividing foreign and domestic issues, I believe was a tactical mistake for the Bush team. If they had kept the issues together Kerry would have to be somewhat resereved at all times. Domestic issues give Kerry a chance to sock it to Bush.
Kerry must also tie the costs of this unnecessary and catastrophic war to future problems in our domestic lives for generations to come.

Did you notice how he got stronger as the debate progressed? Bush just got more tired. * looked small to me -- physically small.

Bush stumbled and sputtered and had frequent synapse burn-outs. John Kerry was strong, confident, and steady. The image projected is as important as the words said when considering the American viewing audience.
