I haven't read anything about the post-debate spin, but from the debate I saw, the results were crystal clear. Kerry STOMPED ALL OVER Bush. He has the presence, the demeanor, the gravitas of a true leader, and he made Bush look like the stammering, incoherent fool he really is. And afterwards, he and Teresa came for a quick speech. I'd never seen a presidential candidate in person before, but this man absolutely radiates power and confidence. The new slogan on display tonight is "Fighting For Us," and by God, he's doing it. He's offered all of us three words of motivation, and I'd like to stress them here, now.

Take that in two ways: first, remember what the Supreme Court did, forcing Bush into office against the will of the majority of this country. Second, remember what the next president will do. With three of the Supreme Court justices approaching retirement age, the next president will shape the face of the Supreme Court, and thus shape the face of our country's legal system for years to come. This is about more than just president. This is about appointing the people who will decide our very freedoms and liberties.
