NYC Debate party a great success!

We gathered with pizza and wine, water, strawberries and fruit ice pops...lots of cheering, catcalls, laughs, and pride in Kerry's performance. It really was a lot more fun watching with a group.

I was driving from Washington DC to West Virginia, but I heard the entire debate over WV PBS. I was alone but there was a lot of cheering and catcalls in my car too!

2. Raven

I printed out a bunch of the Bush Bingo cards from Democrats.org (sorry, don't remember who posted the link here on DU, but thanks!) and gave them to the door person at Raven (Avenue A and 12th Street). One of my friends actually scored a Bingo. I missed by one square.

The owner of the bar had posted his place on JohnKerry.com. The place was packed and you would have thought it was a Yankees/Red Sox game with all the whooping and catcalls. The owner said he would be hosting the upcoming debates there as well. The bartender, while run ragged, was thrilled with the amount of business (and tips) he was getting.

So, come on down on Tuesday for the next one and bring your friends.
