1. LOL, I made the same calculations like five minutes ago!
I searched through the debate transcript and yes indeed, 11 times. It seemed like more, though.

2. It was hard work
deserting my military unit and avoiding a drug test. It was hard work profiting from insider trading at Harken. It was hardwork to get those knuckleheads at the CIA to come around to my way of thinking. And by God, I'm a hard working buckeroo. Its even hard work hauling fake brush from a fake farm that was set up just to be a photo op. Goddamn you people make me work hard.

6. There, there, now
Just keep in mind that after January you can rest...every day, all day long. What was it that you said God would say to you if you lost? Something about good and faithful servant or some such?

7. Hard work?
But I can usually get 'hard work' done in less than three years....

it will be hard work getting anyone to pay attention to him after Jan. 20th.

8. "Hard Work" is coded language for "Dead American Soldiers"
I think that's a powerful enough explanation. My dad (my parents are both veterans) saw right through his language. He totally agreed with my assertion that Bush does not understand the role of Commander in Chief. It does not mean "stay the course". It means that when committing soldiers to combat, you do everything necessary to get the job done, and get our boys and girls home.

9. He used the word "hope" a lot, too, didn't he?
As in "I hope things go well", and so on.

11. Yes, it's hard work for an idiot to do a man's (or woman's) work.
Apparently this is the essence of rocket science. :eyes:
