vs. Beer Company Chairman Pete Coors (R)

Right now, both the US Senators from Colorado are Republicans.

However, one of them is retiring from the Senate (Ben Nighthorse Campbell), and so there is an open seat, and a good chance for the Democrats.

Colorado State Attorney General Ken Salazar, a Democrat, is running against beer company chairman Pete Coors, a Republican.

If you would like to help Ken Salazar to win, you can make a small donation at Ken Salazar for US Senate:

3. I think so....
Too many people know about Coors wanting to lower the drinking age... and they were against Coors in his primary and many will not vote for him in November. S I would predict Salazar in a squeaker.

2. I saw the debate between the gubernatorial candidates.

The Dem guy was most unimpressive. It was as if he didn't think he could win. When I found out he was a Rhodes Scholar I was surprised, his debate performance was so blah. Does he even stand a chance in the election?

Also, does Colorado have term limits in place? The guy who is governor now is apparently highly thought of, and I couldn't find out why he isn't running for re-election.
