Bush does not believe in himself and knows he sucks as President
More than anything from the debate tonight I think the truth shined through that Bush basically knows he sucks and he is not a good enough actor to cover that up. He looked like a little boy who just got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and then said "I wasn't trying to get any cookies, I was putting cookies back in the jar."

Can I just come right out and say that it utterly blows my mind that this guy ever made it to be president. I would in all truth not hire this guy to manage a Domino's Pizza place. For that matter I would not hire him to deliver the Pizza! He would get lost then blame the customer for not having his porch light on even after being five hours late driving around in circles because he didn't take the time to stop at a pay phone and call to get better directions.

2. you nalied it
and his vacuous amorality IS the reason he is president

the neocon Rovian junta needed an empty vessel, and empty suit to sit in the oval office while they run the country - wanted him to keep quiet and it helps that he is not smart enough to even know what is going on

6. If he had actually won, it might be different.
He knows he's not a legitimate leader.

That knowledge that the people didn't put him there has corroded his presidency and made him permanently on the defensive.
