Nice handicapping Rove, insisting on foreign policy first
Try not to trip over a pile of genius buttons on the way to taking a crap. And please give me a call in Las Vegas on January 21.

If you attack the opponent based on his greatest strength, doesn't it follow you don't allow him to rehabilitate his primary weakness at the most pivotal time and before the largest audience?

There was a thread here a few days ago with many of us astonished the GOP made such a blunder. Besides allowing Kerry to boost his lagging poll numbers in terms of terrorism and national security and Iraq and decisiveness, the foreign policy debate is always the most serious and least cutesy of the three, nullifying Bush's potential edge in likeability.

1. It was a catastrophic decision and
Now Bush heads to very unfriendly debate territory.

Kerry must not have a letdown. He has to be BETTER than tonight in the next two to keep the spinmasters from grabbing ahold of the election again.

2. Bush is now on the defensive. Expectations of him to do better are going
to be enormous. Consider, he has two more and he came to his 'strength' tired, agitated and stupid. It can only
get worse.
