Why does Kerry keep rolling over on the supposed 87-billion flip-flop? He came out and admitted that he MISSPOKE about it. Bullshit! As everyone here has pointed out, over and over, Bush threatened to veto the first version because it rolled back tax cuts, and Kerry then voted against the 2nd version as a protest of this.
WHY WHY WHY doesn't Kerry point this out? It's freakin Softball. Instead he lies down on it. When he did it on ABC yesterday, I thought "oh well he's saving it for the debate(s)". NOT.
I can only assume that in the chess-game of politix he knows something we don't about how he'll be counterattacked on this.
Comments? please! it's killing me.
PS. Despite the tone of this post I am ecstatic about his performance tonite. Woo-hoo! :headbang:
