What I want to hear Edwards say to Cheney |
|
"Mr. Cheney, you were convicted for driving under the influence -- five times. My son was killed by a drunk driver like you."

2. i think there are 5 duis for cheney and shrub COMBINED |
|
cheney - 3 shrub -2
but still, your point holds.
problem is, a HUGE number of americas have driven at least tipsy and in any event can easily see themselves getting caught driving after having had a drink or two and for all they know failing the breathalyzer.
sad but true, people don't like it when you rail on drunk drivers, especially not in the specific.

I'm not sure it was a drunk driver. It's four AM. I might be hazy on the details; I'll look into it more closely tomorrow.

My mistake.
"Wade, then 16, died when the Jeep he was driving swerved out of control. Fierce crosswinds 'swept my boy off the road,' Edwards wrote in his book, 'Four Trials.'"

Four trials is really a good book, if you guys were thinking about picking it up.

7. I'd rather he stick to the issues. There's plenty of red meat there. |
|
Most Americans will see drunk driving as a personal (not job-related) issue--rightly or wrongly--and will react negatively if Edwards brings it up out of the blue.

1. Do you subscribe to the agenda of the PNAC document that you signed that American Hegemony must be our goal? 2.If you subscribe to that goal, what steps would you take during the next four years to reach that goal? 3.Do you believe that the Niger yellowcake document was authentic? 4.If not, who forged the document? 5.Did you approve of the release of Valerie Plame's identity to the Press? Since your office has been implicated, was it you, one of your subordinates acting on your orders or someone acting without your knowledge? If you know the identity of the person, why have you not come forward with that person's name? Why have you not shown any outrage at this treasonous activity from your office? 6.Did you approve of Mr.Bush's false statements on his SOTU address regarding the Niger yellowcake and your own statement that Saddam Hussein has "reconstituted" his nuclear weapons. What does "reconstituted" mean? 7.Have you abused your office to enrich Halliburton so that you can benefit after you leave office? 8.Does Halliburton have any mercenaries involved in Iraq as combat soldiers or "interrogators" ( tortureres) out of Congressional eyes?
