This seems to have been a preselected "reaction" to the debates. I heard it on C-Span from a self-professed "Democrat" and in a couple of focus group reports. The funny thing is that, if you were the type to be "scared," the thought of that incompetent fool being commander-in-chief should be absolutely terrifying.

I don't know why you attacked the OP so quick, but I just read the same sort of thing in the Cleveland Plain Dealer in a part where they asked "the person on the street".
I think the op was questioning why people would be scared of Kerry and I doubt it is flamebait, because I have heard that from people also, and not just from TV.

Notice how the three Bush shee . . . er . . . supporters had the most space and the pro-Kerry opinions got twenty words apiece.
