Poll question: Will The Press Be Fair And Make Political Hay Out Of Bush's Faces
During The Debate Like They Did To Al Gore?

There's more than enough to work with....

It doesn't take an Einstein to know not to make monkey faces during a televised debate...

2. Not unless we do
Get busy with those emails between calls to your local talk radio shows today.

GET THE WORD OUT:

Bush has had his "Al Gore" moment.

6. Really? I heard a few zinger about Bush. It's almost
like some in the media are shocked that their boy did so poorly. Ha-Ha. Finally people are starting to take notice. The Emperor never had clothes. Screw the media. They do not get to decide. That's the SCOTUS'S job. <sarcasm>

8. Would like a body language expert
to review the chimpy split screen videos. The rapid eye blinking, excessive dry mouth and gallons of water, the frowning monkey faces.

11. It is funny how ...
the Bush camp forced 32 pages of ridiculous rules, only to have them make AWOL look more stupid than normal.

I have only seen clips here and there of the debates, and AWOL looked like an incompentent baffoon (more than normal).

Cheers
Drifter

12. The press will follow the polls
Like all vain and stupid people.

We only have to enforce "Kerry dominated" for a day or two, then they'll want to pretend it was what they thought all along.

13. No- They were hoping to catch Kerry doing something they could ridicule
No- because it was Kerry that the mainstream media was preparing to ridicule for any perceived misstep or odd demeanor. They are going easy on Bush (saying he connected as a regular likeable guy who stays on message) even though though he was embarrassingly awful despite being given every advantage in this debate including the way his podium was deliberately situated to give him maximum psychological advantage.

And as far as substance, his answers were mediocre and at times incoherent and his hammering away at Kerry with the same old rhetoric fell flat and wasn't credible when Kerry was was so firm, concise and clear in his answers, exactly the opposite of the way he is being portrayed.

MSNBC just showed a segment featuring the Gore sighs, not Bush's expressions and they have been repeatedly discounting Kerry's win of the CNN/Gallup Debate Poll saying that these polls are unreliable and subject to change over the next 48 hours, bla bla bla. They certainly have not used any such disclaimers when they have talked about Bush's lead in polls before the debate.
