Bush Sets Off Light!
The put in the warning light to try and embarrass Kerry, who they spun as being long winded.

Turns out Bush is the only one who set off the warning light last night. It flashed twice for him. Kerry never went over time, not once.

1. I think the light hurt Bush
it looked like he was trying to fill time where it had top stop Erry from continuing to complete his answer.

2. You forgot Poland
also violated the rule of not directly addressing the opponent.

Anybody with TIVO figure out how many times the chimp violated the rules? I recall several instances where he started to respond to something Kerry had said without waiting for Lehrer to give him the go-ahead.

My (and JK's) horoscope today said, you are often criticized for getting a late start, but once you get your teeth into something, you don't let go. I laughed out loud at the gym this morning when I read that.

3. The light really hurt Bush.
Kerry was spot on time every time - filled his time with good, meaningful info. Bush just stammered and filled his time with fluff - once running out of even that garbage before the green light came on.

5. True, But I Was Waiting for the "Backup Buzzer" System
to kick in. That would have really thrown Bush for a loop. Maybe next time.
