My take on the debate.
Kerry exceeded my expectations. He was on top of every issue. He was calm and articulate. He looked and talked like a President. On the other hand, Bush did worse than I thought he would. He looked agitated and uncomfortable. He seems very stubborn and does not want to hear criticism. He has a my way or the high way attitude. He did not look Presidential. Bush should be working on his ranch and not in the White House. John Kerry clearly cleaned his clock.

2. stock market opens higher in anticipation of NEW President
JK Kicked things up a notch or 10. Now the people know who he is and more importantly all the people know who GB 'REALLY" is.

I thought that at least he would have his messaging memorized. He couldn't execute a convincing sentence through the entire 90 minutes. he smirked alot, sighed alot, stared blankly into the camera alot, but couldn't articulate anything coherent.

I loved the irony of his statement about it being so difficult to transform a country where they 'cut off hands and had executions' As Texas under lil' george executed more people than any other state, I had to laugh.

4. Same here TM. Didn't think * would be that bad.
But he was. The smirking, the angry face....the repetition of "hard work, mixed messages" don't work w/ people who are not repukes.

Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

Kerry was the consummate statesman. Just great!
