DROP the ABB soundbite. The GOP spinmachine uses it AGAINST Kerry.
And so do their echo chambers in the traitor media.

We can have a huge margin of victory if we walk the fierce, committed walk with John Kerry through this next month. We can also give him a Democratic Congress to work with.

Don't give them ANY room to spin against Kerry and the Democrats right now.

1. I agree completely
I don't think getting back the House is out of the question (though it's admittedly and uphill climb). Getting the Presidency and the Senate is looking very good though.

2. John Kerry is a good, decent, smart man who will bring honor....
to the Presidency.

The message should be that Kerry will be good for America, good for the world. We can and should drop the ABB message.

Definitely a Democratic Senate. I just see it happening now. Good signs for us in Alaska, Oklahoma, Colorado. Illinois, of course, is a done deal. And we can hold our own in South Dakota, South Carolina, North Carolina.

And we even have a good chance in the House.

4. yeah, especially since Kerry is running a PRO KERRY campaign
he is the one who is offering something and the one who can talk about his accomplishments.

it's bush and the republicans who have run the ABK campaign. they are the ones trying to scare people into voting for bush based on lies about kerry by saying shit like he wont defend us. it's republicans who fill the airwaves with anti kerry crap which is mostly lies since they can't offer anything.

6. It doesn't matter
The GOP spin machine uses anything against Kerry. If they don't have anything, they'll make it up. Have you forgotten about the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth already?

7. ABB is dead
Kerry will make a fine president.

One number I expect to see going up is the number of people that are FOR John Kerry, as opposed to just being AGAINST Bush.

This is why it seems like Bush's numbers have been stronger for much of the time. The enthusiasm will really help Kerry.

8. Absolutely.
And we should have done it a long time ago.

I get so tired of people telling me: "I won't vote for Bush, but I wish I liked Kerry better."

I tell them that Kerry is a good man and will make a great President. I think we have hurt ourselves by not being more pro-Kerry.

I suggest we should all find something we really like about Kerry, and share it with everyone we talk to abut the election.

9. There's never any guarantee, but Kerry could be the best
President this country has had in a very long time. He's intelligent and he knows how screwed up the world is. If he can get a working margin in Congress...

This was good remark when the Primarys were taking place, but now Kerry is the clear choice if you want shrub out of DC

11.  Absolutely essential that we join JK in this fight with w/o reservation
Thank you for this post, blm. I think John Kerry went a long way last night toward vanquishing the ABB vote!

We must not falter, we must not fail. John Kerry may well have given the Democrats the push needed to take back the Congress in November.

14. ABB is long gone.
No way is it ABB. It is John Kerry, all the way. I lost the ABB attitude (built up over years of * as gov. and pResident) as soon as I heard John Kerry speak at his convention in Boston. No way is it ABB. :toast:

15. Right on blm! That was primary talk.
Really, at the time the message was "Any of these candidates would be better than Bush, who..."
It has long outlived its usefulness, and held on as a meme to justify bad feelings for the candidates not chosen. Then carried over in the infighting VP choices. Children. Sigh.

So NOW. As I have long said, it is incumbent upon all who see the danger that is the BFEE/neocon gameplan to learn Kerry's history and record. Just that one act makes it EASY to see why JK is PERFECT for the job ahead.
Not the slickest politician, that was Clinton- but the best president in over a generation if we can get him there.

16. I'm sorry I chose ABB as a screen name. I will change my name.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of "Thread Killer"

I heard on the Dianne Rehm show today, that a woman said before the debate, she was voting against *. Now, she is voting for Kerry.
