Bush reaching for the glass...(bottle?) |
|
Was this a typical Alcoholic reaction to stress? Reach for the glass...probably didn't give him what he was looking for...

3. slurring an awful lot too |

I think he'd already hit the bottle. He was slurring an awful lot of his words.

4. So you noticed that, too??? |
|
I noticed that once he had an empty glass, put it back, pulled out another and he seemed shocked at the contents!! I also noticed the way he put his mouth on the glass - reminded me of someone who is drinking straight bourbon and expecting a "bite" when it hits the tongue. He seemed shocked that there was no "bite".

There must have been several glasses under there. I watch on C Span and don't remember Kerry taking one drink!

6. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this |
|
I wondered if he used the old alcoholic's trick of filling the water glass with vodka or gin. I don't suppose he could actually get away with it but he sure kept grabbing it. And he was pretty incoherent.
Oh, yeah, he's always incoherent........
