I was surprised. I thought he could/would keep it under wraps for the debate. He used to could hide it. Makes me wonder if it is getting out of control, and he can no longer turn it off at will.

Maybe they have managed to band-aid things back together on a superficial basis for the past few months, and I certainly expect Rove & co. to put up a vicious fight, but their candidate is a coWard and an idiot, and it's hard to cover that up.
