3. it won't be McCain
though he thinks he has it sewn up.

My guess is either Frist (aka cat killer), Sen. Allen (aka spousal abuser) or maybe even Ridge.

Assuming he doesn't botch anything in the next few years.

16. Jeb
He is the Bush they wanted anyway. The Bushies have designs on the White House for years to come.

The scary thing is that Jeb is actually intelligent as opposed to his dimwitted brother.

17. Tinfoil hat time:
If Kerry wins, Congress will try to bang through that amendment allowing foreign-born citizens to run for President, and in '08 we'll see Candidate Schwarzenegger.

That's my way-out-there guess.

18. Long list, but Rudy is the favorite
Rudy G is the favorite if he can get past the Fundie part of the party...

Others:
1) John McCain
2) Bill Frist (already formed an exploratory committe)
3) Jeb Bush
4) Bill Owens
5) Mitt Romney

Their dream candidate is Arnold, but I don't see it happening.

20. Candy Crowley spotted Jeb 2008 signs at the RNC
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 09:55 AM by sloppyliberal
She commented on it, but was quickly hushed up by the powers that be at AWOL Time Warner, and the signs were well hidden after that.
Gawd help us all....

21. It won't be Rudy,it's the 06 NY Senate run for him.
All talk of Rudy for President is just hype,to boost him for his planned run against Hilary in 06. The repub party has no intention of ever letting him get the nomination to run for President. He will even be pimping 9/11 on his tombstone. All repub talk of Hilary running for President is also hype,to paint her as power mad,to distract from her accomplishments, and to divide our party.
