Check this CNN article -
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/01/debate.poll/index.html

Some remarkable stats - the majority thought * came across as more likeable!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is a sad call on our current culture - meanness, attacking, impatience is the norm....what a miserable read on where we are going as a nation.

1. Here we go again....
Look at the sampling:

In this poll, 36 percent of those interviewed after the debate said they were Republican and 32 percent each said they were Democrats or independents.

2. Their partisanship is showing in that last line...the last 5 Gallup polls
the one who won the debate lost the election 4 out of 5 times. They're grasping. I don't watch CNN anymore. They're meaningless.

3. Subhead: "But Bush gets nod for believability, toughness"
Incredible. I guess if you think that a guy who was a high school cheerleader and ducked Vietnam by getting one of daddy's buddies to get him the TANG is tough and believable, then you probably think John Wayne won World War II single-handedly and Audie Murphy just made up a bunch of stuff to get his medals.

4. Likeability?.....Bush came out ahead?
When I got that far I didn't bother to finish reading....There is NO WAY an honest sampling of viewers would watch last night's debate and call George Bush likeable....He was obviously uncomfortable, snearing, and looked like he wanted to be any where but there....CNN is not credible...
