So Bush would never let another country control decisions |

that impact the national security of the United States, but we can't talk to North Korea unless China is involved. Is that not the most blatant mixed message that we have heard in this campaign?
We can't try to get other countries to help us in Iraq b/c we would be ceding our national security to the UN, but we damn sure better not talk to North Korea (the real threat) unless China tells us it is okay.
Has anyone in the press picked up on this inconsistent message yet?

1. What about Saudi Arabia? |

Ok, that was my moment of levity - but you make an excellent point. What about China? They have led the way with ANY action to subdue NK.

I just posted the same thing on another thread. I was thinking the exact same thing last night when bush* was giving his rambling answer. Honestly I expected a big smackdown from Kerry on that one but it didn't come. How the heck are you?

I spoke with your friend yesterday and gave her some tips on how to resolve that issue. She seemed very nice.
Are you going to protest Bush at the Wash U debate? We will be there for sure. This weekend I'm going to be spreeading the Draft Flyer all over town. If you see it, you'll know the source.
I hope Kerry's people pick up on this point. It seems to undercut Bush's basic message with his own words.

I may be attending the debate, I'm not sure yet. If I don't manage to get a ticket for the debate I'll be happy to come protest. Call me with specifics. Yes, she is very nice and one of my good buddies. Absolutely JK's campaign should pick up on it. As I stated I expected JK to pick up on it last night. :hi:

6. Exactly, the beauty of the North Korea response is that |
|
you can feed Bush back his own words. It does not require anyone to have any more knowledege than exactly what came out of Bush's mouth.

9. Yep, and I wish JK had done just that last night. |

Haha! I did a thread last night, ""The Professor vs Gilligan' that about sums it up!" That was my take on the debate.
