Let's take a trip down memory lane to help Kerry

First and foremost, Kerry kicked some serious ass last night so I don't want you to think this is a "what Kerry should have said" type thread. It's not. What I want this thread to do, is to remind Democrats of the most ridiculous but sometimes forgotten aspects of the Bush administration. There's so much to choose from, I think we forget a great deal.

For example:

Bush goes on and on about creating Homeland Security, but isn't this the same Homeland Security that suggested PLASTIC AND DUCT TAPE as a way to stay alive during biological warfare??? And how are those color code systems working out?

What happened to the Mars initiative?

After 9/11, all Americans were looking for some profound way to pull together and help this country and what was the response of our "leader"? Go shopping.

What happened to all those $1 bills the American children were suppose to mail to help the Afghan children? Speaking of Afghan children, how are they doing??

What forgotten nonsense do you remember???

Kerry can't hammer him on these because they're not "central issues" to the presidency but boy oh boy the rest of us sure can.

Actually a single succinct ridicule ad would work here with a narrator asking all of these questions --

by the way, did Africa ever get that money to help stop the spread of AIDS? Bush promised it but I never heard anything about it afterwards (not unusual for *). I know it pissed off his base though. :)
