Hey, at least he cut down on the Polish jokes. Now when someone tries to tell us one we can say "No, I think you mean George Bush".

The Poles are upset at their treatment by the US in Iraq. An article in The Nation the Poles are saying, "Does it really pay to be America's friend?" They figured the US knew what they were doing and would know how to win the peace. Now they say the US had no idea of what to do. They are also angry because they thought they would benefit financially but when contracts come up for bid they say, "Haliburton again." In 2004 alone, Poland will pay $85 million to finance rebuilding in Iraq. For this they receive $12 in aid from the US. They are also upset because the US has made visa rules even tougher for Poles who want to immigrate to the US.
