I talked to some non-DU Democrats about the debate
Face it! Us DUers are Political Geeks who have a wee-bit more knowledge than folks out there who get most of their info from the fishraps or the Networks. Anyway, I spoke with a couple of friends who are registered Democrats and their overall opinion of the debate was that George W. Bush is a huge Moran. They knew that before but they were stunned at how ignorant the man really is.

They chuckled at his Poland remarks, they mentioned his repeated use of "Hard Work", but most of all they were amazed at his facial expressions. They could not believe that the President of the United States would act that way.

Here's the deal: A whole bunch of these types of Democrats are the ones who usually fail to vote. It's just not tops on their list of things to do. But this election is different. They see a Man who simply comes across as incompetent and they realize that not only is the Economy going into the tank but that he's the guy running the Iraq War. That scares them.

AND they realize that in 2004, their vote does count. Every Dem that I know, and I mean every Dem, is going to vote.

1. I've been saying it all along
but the margin of victory for Kerry is really going to surprise people. Record voter turnout (and disillusioned Repugs staying home) is going to rule the day.

3. I talked to some Dems in the
store today and they all thought bush looked and sounded like an idiot, too..I kid you not!

It was unanimous..so it's not just us:)

Some people thought he seemed like he was listening to something in his ear even though he did so poorly..could that be true?
