C-Span used a full-time split screen. How was that unfair? Bush looked like a jackass, and Kerry looked "presedential." It's just too bad for the Republicans that they're running a buffon in this race!

even out the candidates' heights so * wouldn't look shorter. I swear, in the side-by-side shots, they kept moving one of the screens up or down as each person moved! It was distracting.

12. Yes! I noticed that the camera kept dropping...

so that Bush would always look at least as tall as Kerry, if not taller. I didn't notice that kind of camera movement on Kerry's side of the split screen.

On Edit: Also, matching their heights made Bush appear larger than Kerry, which I initially thought was a disadvantage....until Chimpy started having his facial hissy-fits!

the height difference was shown with the split screen by the podiums being so out of wack. Camera people were trying to keep both their heads about the same height that when they did that, the podiums were way out of alignment.

for the ENTIRE debate, indicating that they shot him at a lower height, so that his head was even with Kerry's. I mentioned that at the debate party I attended last night and everyone was like "Wow... I didn't even NOTICE that!" Unfair to Bush, my ass!

First on CSPAN, then the MSNBC rerun.

Bush came off BETTER in the network feed. They took the camera off him when Kerry was speaking, and when it was on him, he didn't fill the screen in scary fashion like on CSPAN.

Regis had better come up with a better excuse. What a lameass mofo!
