Did Bush forget his meds last night???
Or will they just need to up the dosage for the next debate?

Seriously, last night was probably the first time that a national audience got a good look at the real George W. Bush: sulky, defensive, pouty, surly.

I don't think Karl will let it happen twice, but I'm glad it happened once anyway.

1. Interesting
Dubya performed without:

1. teleprompter
2. earpiece
3. notes
4. adoring audience.

He simply couldn't handle it.

2. After last night
I'd be suprised if they didn't back out of the rest of the debates. Drugged up or not there's no way to avoid chimpy's not being able to handle criticism. He's not had to justify anything to anyone for a long long time.

4. His constant thirst...................
was a dead give away. NOBODY is that thirsty without being medicated. My guess would be Valium or Xanax, they both make one thirsty.

5. I suspect they got his meds balanced as well as they could.....

Too much and he would have been a zombie.

He was just as strange giving his speech at the Convention, but he didn't
have to think on his feet at all. That's what throws him off. And as he
demonstrated last night, he can't bear to be criticized or contradicted,
or to have his decisions questioned. According to the guy who wrote
"Bush on the Couch". those things are a major part of his personality.

Karl will not be able to prevent it from happening twice. That's the way
Bush is. :D

6. I'm glad the cameras didn't sign the 'loyalty oaf' and used the split...
screen afterall.
Kerry did an exceptional job but without seeing the idiot in chief and his farcical face, the spinners wouldn't be running for cover right now.
