Rasmussen National 3-Day poll For 10/1 (All Pre-Debate)
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 11:36 AM by louis c
Rasmussen 3-day tracking has little, if any, post debate data.

We can use today's numbers of bush 48.7% to Kerry's 45.3% as a base line.

His national numbers are free of charge and are updated daily at noon.

Now is the time to get a feel for the movement of Kerry's overwhelming debate performance and watch the trend over time.

I think it will rival a convention bounce, and put us in great shape.

I have taken a day off from work to follow the post convention analysis at home, and research before two large Union meetings concerning this election.

At 3:00 pm EDT, Rasmussen will release pre-debate data from Ga, Tenn, Ind, Iowa, ILL, and NC,as well as the SD Senate race on Premium Site, I will remember to post to my DU friends at that time.

At just after 5:00 PM, I will give the daily 7 day updates for Fl, Mich, Minn, Ohio, and Penn from the same site.

2. Unfortunately:
"The overwhelming majority of interviews for this survey were completed before the Presidential Debate last night."

3. That's why it's a base line
so we can now watch the movement each day.

Tracking polls don't give you instant gratification, but allow you to watch a "moving picture" of events.

The event is the first Presidential debate. So, Monday we'll have Rasmussen's data, then Wednesday, we can start to gage the VP debate on Tuesday.
