If Bush really had done well in the debate, the media whores...
Would all be shouting with one voice that the election was over and that the Kerry campaign was dead.

The fact that they're trying to spin it as a tie tells you the real story: Bush got creamed.

1. ya got that right :0
Someone like David Brooks saying is was a tie means he's afraid of looking
like and idiot saying Bush won, so he's chosing the only alternative.

2. My impression is...
...that most of them _are_ saying that Bush got creamed.

Even some surprising ones, like Joe Scarborough.

3. We need to make a list of what they say and what it really means
Here's some examples

Bush is a plain speaker - Bush is functionally retarded

Bush stays on message - Bush regurgitates the same talking point over and over

Bush connected with viewers emotionally - Bush taps into fears by hyping terror thread

5. The ones who are spinning it as a tie...
...must have gotten their pets decapitated by Rove late last night while they slept.

The fact that none of them can spin it as a Bush win is a victory for us, especially since this was supposed to be his "strong suit."
