Bush Can't Pull Out of Next Two Debates Now |
|
This is not a plausible option after last night. Shrub could have only done this if there had been a major formatting issue AND if his performance was judged to be strong.
With his exceedingly week showing last night, he's now between "IRAQ and a hard place." He must go forth with the debates or essentially concede the election to the quite-presidential Kerry.
Shrub must also dramatically improve in the next two debates or it's over for him. But there's not much time. The next two debates fall in rapid succession.
It may already be over for him. 55 million people saw a poor excuse for a commander in chief last night. Undecideds were impressed with Kerry last night. They will be moving towards Kerry in droves.
Kerry landslide.

1. Now Bush has to beat Kerry on his turf |
|
domestic issues, in town hall format no less. Bush MUST defeat Kerry. If Kerry wins or it's a legitimate tie next time, then it's still advantage Kerry.

2. Well he could have a terrow warning in |
|
one of the places for the debates. Not beyond him to do that. Don't know how he can improve, the foreign policy debate was supposed to be his strong suit and probably why he wanted it first, to wipe Kerry out. How could he possibly do well on heathcare or the economy at this point?

3. Eyes on the Prize - lets not get over confident |

I am AMAZED at what a pathetic performance the Chimp handed in. Right now to my mind, he's like a wounded rattlesnake - ready to strike provocation or no. Kerry has taken his measure, but that does not mean he is not still potentially dangerous.

i am not really overconfident. i am however doing all i can to boost some of my associates and friends' sagging confidence. i ran into a good liberal friend last night that i hadn't seen in years. he was hanging his head over gallup and all the talking wingnuts.
i try to do two things when that happens: reassure them, and send 'em to DU.

4. not only that but this "tie" spin nonsense begs the question... |
|
