CNN: Cafferty tells us to "knock if off".
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 11:24 AM by TankLV
That hit-&-run drunk driving asshole Cafferty has gotten over 10,000 emails supporting Kerry after last nite's debates and apparently doesn't like it - wants us all to "knock it off".

I wonder if he said it when he got ones supporting the criminal currently occupying OUR White House?! Hmmmm?

Keep up the good work, everyone.

These repukes just can't stand it being told the truth and seeing - finally - how awful and hated their "man" is!

On edit:

I hate to post and run - but I've just arrived at work after rushing this morning with CNN in the background.

Again - great job everyone!

Keep up the pressure! It's fun to see all their heads explode!

Will check back in later.

Tank

11. Hit 'em all... See this message from the Kerry Campaign...
Tonight's debate was a decisive victory for John Kerry because America saw him as our next president. He showed strength, conviction, and a steady command of the facts. He offered clear plans for Iraq and fighting terrorism.

George Bush has a record of failure to defend, and he failed to defend it. The president just gave us more of the same shallow promises.

However, the Republican spin machine is already hard at work. We need your help to beat back their distortions. Right now we need you contact the media and speak your mind.

Contact national media using the link below and remember to emphasize the points above.

25. here's mine.
Jack, you'd be able to tell Dems and Republicans apart if you could wait till noon to have a drink.

The Democrats are the people trying to give those boys both victory and their lives. The Republicans are the ones sending them to their deaths for no bid contracts and electoral votes.

In case you think nobody noticed, the Republican propagandists are the ones who try to stifle dissent to the music of Ray Charles just 'cause their boy got exposed for the half assed fraud he is.

Everybody knows Hemmer's a weasel in a frat boy costume but you hit a new low even by AM's third grade standards of journalism.

Have another drink, Jack. It might make you grow the nuts to tell the stooges that sign your paychecks that even the dimmest-bulb Republican can tell that debate was no draw.

I was amazed to hear about Jack Cafferty's request that viewers not share their opinions with him. You might want to consider the question of how many viewers will remain if CNN stays on its current course. I stopped watching after CNN's shockingly bad Democratic convention coverage. Please DO SOMETHING to help CNN regain some of its lost credibility.

Sincerely from a formerly loyal viewer,

33. Maybe if these people would report the news without the spin
we wouldn't have to send them 10k emails. Instead they're acting like good little corporate lemmings and ignoring ALL of the reactions from polls, focus groups, most talking heads, and calling the debate a draw. Is this another part of being "fair and balanced," being unable to call a winner unless it's their buddy George W. Bush?

41. This is what I sent
I'm appalled that Jack Cafferty has the nerve to instruct Kerry supporters to "knock it off" for expressing their support of their candidate's superior performance in Thursday night's debate. Why advertise an email address for feedback if he only wants to hear from one side?

Additionally, his comment about distinguishing Democrats from Republicans while waving flags, showing American service personnel and playing the music of Ray Charles was nothing short of blatant posturing. Shame on him and shame on CNN for letting him get away with such juvenile statements. Republicans and Democrats look alike. The parties are composed of people who care about their country and want to do what is best for our men and women in uniform. They simply disagree on what defines "best." Democrats are working to bring our men and women home safely while not leaving behind a monumental mess in Iraq that we ourselves created. Implying that Democrats are unpatriotic or subversive is behavior unbecoming to a professional journalist and media outlet.

If you want to point fingers at unpatriotic subversives you might want to take a closer look at the Project for a New American Century and the dangerous ideologues governing our country.

42. I sent this e-mail to am@cnn.com
Subject: We're not knocking it off!

What does it take for CNN to admit that Bush lost the debate? Bush jumping up and down making animal sounds while sticking out his tongue and spitting on his opponet? Geez, even people that amazingly couldn't see through your network's right-wing bias must be noticing you now. All the polls say that Kerry won. Including the Gallup poll that you love to praise as if it's the only poll! Bush smirked, rolled his eyes, showed a lack of mastery of the material, and was angry - while Kerry put forth facts and positions, and was cool under pressure. In the battle to get Bush's administration, the most extreme and corrupt one that this country has ever seen, voted out, we will not be knocking it off. This country still has some semblance of a Democracy.

Also, why didn't you tell Freepers/conservatives to knock it off when they mistakenly called you the Clinton News Network?

I have not watched CNN in a long time, and stuff like this won't get me back.

- Matt from PA

50. My sentiments to Cafferty.
Knock it off? I'll knock it off when you spend less time drinking and more time learning how to report the news, not manufacture it.

You should have a part time job as waterboy for the Bush administration. Your despicable linking of soldiers in a war zone, Ray Charles and implication intended by asking which are Republicans, and which Democrats sinks to an all time low. Only exceeded by your asking Kerry supporters to "knock it off."

Bush was humiliated last night and you don't like pain. But maybe you should study your sacred Gallup Poll, which as we all know, is known for it's accuracy in the 2000 election, and even it has Bush a loser.

Being placed in office by the Supreme Court does not make you qualified to be President. Having the intelligence, demeanor and capable decision making ability does. Last night the world saw, Bush does not deserve to be on the same stage with John F. Kerry. You sir, also do not deserve to be a reporter.

Mr Cafferty your show makes my day. What I enjoy the most is your insightful reporting. You are by far the best in the CNN stable.

By the way John Kerry kicked George Bush in the ass in last nights debate. I am sure the media journalists who have sold their former souls to Corporate sponsers will try to spin another message. Not you, that is why your objective journalism is of such great value.

A fan for life.
