WHY DIDN'T KERRY ASK ABOUT "ROADMAP TO PEACE"???

One target-rich area of opportunity to skewer Dubya is the idiotic "Roadmap to Peace" between Israel and the Palestinians that he was crowing about so much in 2003.

John Kerry should have asked, "Tell me George, where is that Roadmap to Peace in the Middle East that you used to talk so much about??? Did you leave it in the glove compartment of the old pick-up down in Crawford???"

Since the topic of last night's debate was Foreign Policy, I would have rubbed the dipshit's nose in the fact that he hasn't achieved a goddamn thing, in terms of resolving the Israeli/Palestinian mess, which is the root cause of Islamic extremism throughout the world.

Solve that mess and you have gone a long way toward "winning the war on terror" - whatever that phrase means.

I hope Kerry brings up the Roadmap again and again and again and again and ...........

2. Let's Not Split Hairs
Oh, come on. You know what I mean. They both deviated from the 32 page "rule book" within minutes. Kerry could have easily snuck in this question in the context of answering a different question.

My point is that Kerry needs to bash Bush repeatedly over the head with yet another failed foreign policy attempt, namely this idiotic "Roadmap to Peace"!

5. This is an excellent point
Lehrer didn't have to ask the question. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict should be central to any discussion of Iraq or the war on terror, or any discussion of the Middle East. Any President seeking to establish peace and an exit strategy in Iraq must address the issue of ending the conflict between Israel and Palestinians and creating a Palestinian state. It colors everything that goes on in Arab countries and their relationship to the United States. How either candidate could avoid it is very perplexing and troubling. Bush has completely abandoned the roadmap and Kerry should have excoriated him on it.
