Ohioans . . . GOD this state is comical
The state loses over 220 thousand jobs, has ID being taught in some of it's schools, has a Repub governor that taxes the shit out of them, and yet people here STILL accept the Texus shitsteak in droves. UNbelieveabull.

From todays Cleveland PD -

"I thought Bush looked better than Kerry. He gave a more confident presence. It made me feel that he really truly understood the situation ... I'm still going to keep an open mind."

William Morgan, 51, Northeast/Industrial Heartland

"I think Mr. Bush came across very well tonight ... The president is doing the best job he can. Mr. Kerry was not there when Mr. Bush had to decide whether he was going to war or not. How does he know he's wrong? What gives him the right to say he's wrong or not?"

Lynne Meyer, 50, Northwest Farm Belt

"It's the first I've really sat down and listened to him . He intimidated me a little. And he kept harping on the president on how he was in the service. Give it a break."

Barb Zeller, 52, Southland/Southwest

"I've kind of come to this conclusion that if we want to build a strong Middle Eastern alliance of nations with a McDonald's on every corner, then you vote for Bush. But it's coming through that if we want to build a world with a future for our children, then you want to vote for Kerry.

Cheryl Enyart, 57

Appalachia

"I believed that Sen. Kerry came across more forceful in what he was saying."

Edna Pace, 77

Central/Exurbia

I agree with you completely. Since when did we stop expecting the best from our leaders?

If you want to be led by a mediocrity, by all means vote for Bush. He'll "do his best" for another four years. It won't be the best, but that's not the point anymore, is it?

But if you want a leader, go with Kerry. If you think this country can do better than "just enough to get by," vote for Kerry.

12. You are right!!
We don't want a president that does the best they can... we a president that is the best for the job.

How many of them will hire someone that doesn't know anything about computers because they will do their best over a computer geek (expert)?

14. If that's the best he can do, he needs to be fired.
I'm sure he can find a nice job as an assistant manager at the Crawford McDonald's

13. A few other POTS polled said the same thing . . .
Like that was all Kerry brought up - his time in Vietnam. Truth be told, I think he mentioned it twice in very brief passing, not as an issue.

This is another classic case of the morans hearing what they wanted to hear and repeating the same ReThug talking points, whether they were even mentioned at all, which this WASN'T. They're deluding themselves into thinking he won, or at worst, held his own when they know DAMN well he got guillotined.
