Tony Blair Better Pray That Kerry Wins |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 01:53 PM by Yavin4
Without a massive change in U.S. foreign policy, Blair's goose is cooked. Currently, he is the only world leader that's closest to Bush and his failed policy in Iraq, a policy that Bush will not alter in a second term. In fact, the failure of Iraq is teetering on blowing up completely, and Blair knows that his hands will be over this collassal failure as much as, if not more than, Bush's hands.
A President Kerry gives the world a "do-over" on Iraq. Kerry alone has the ability to change the direction on Iraq away from failure and towards worldwide cooperation. Such a move takes Blair off the hook. If Kerry can get Germany, France, other NATO allies, and even the U.N. more involved in the reconstruction of Iraq, then the success or failure of Iraq will be out of Blair's hands.
