Kerry supporter. If this is any indication of how undecided voters feel, Kerry has it in the bag.

********************************************

Oh my!

I just watched the debate, and I would say the Democratic National Committee would rather have that debate, the way it went, than $50 million.

John Kerry STOMPED Dubya, then drove a steam roller over his remains. It was the biggest wipeout in debate history.

Bush looked like he crapped his pants while walking out there, and was about to start crying at any moment. The old "amiable Texas drinking buddy" Bush was nowhere to be found. Kerry had him on the ropes at virtually every moment. Bush looked old, tired, and irritable; constipated.

Kerry, on the other hand, was clear, decisive, and Presidential. I don't think he wasted ANY words, and his only flub was when he said something about a "global test" or something - a mistake which Bush, amazingly, was smart enough to pick up.

Bush's answers - and he surprised me by being able to even talk for 2 minutes on specific topics -were boring to listen to. Every now and then you got the impression he was going to say something worthwhile, but then - nope - that was immediately proven wrong by the next words out of his mouth.

By the end of the evening, Bush was comletely out of steam. He had recited his rehearsed answers, and even though he had 90 seconds to talk, he gave up, and tried to cover his giving up with some folksy talk. Kerry, on the other hand, had the presence of mind to use his last seconds to correct, once and for all, some of the misinformation Bush was putting out about him.

My guess is the Europeans are thanking Chroist tonight that Bush is about to be booted!

While Kerry is being acknowledged as the clear winner, no one is saying Bush was outright humiliated because of the handicap that is always given to Bush - the "Hey - he's a dumbshit Texan - let's cut him some slack" thing. Take away the automatic Bush handicap, and Dubya was humiliated tonight.

Can you imagine that Jim Baker actually spent weeks negotiating tonight's scenario? It looked like it was set up to have Bush, with his pants down, tied over a barrel while Kerry whipped his arse with a criquet bat. Can you imagine if Jim Baker HADN'T negotiated everything to "favour" Bush?????

I wonder if Bush will simply back out of the next debates? Foreign policy was his "strong" suit. What the hell is he going to do when confronted by his weaker topics for debate???? I rated this one 10 for Kerry, 1.5 for Bush.

The interesting debate, which won't be simply shooting fish in a barrell, will be John Edwards v "Dick" Cheney. Cheney is one mean mo-fo, and nice guy Edwards will have his hands full!

Before the debate I was voting AGAINST Bush. Now, I'm voting FOR John Kerry. I think he will make an outstanding President!
