People, we really need to stay on Kerry's ass
Gary South, a great Democratic stratagest from California, said that Kerry needs to perform at this level for the next thirty days. Kerry has a tenancy to get into these near-death experiences, from what I have read of his past campaigns. If you see him pulling out the wind-surfing sails again, kick his ass. Actually, that goes for all of us. This is no time for any of us to become complacent.

After last night, can you just imagine what Karl Rove is cooking up now? Shiver me timbers.

1. Kerry needed to shake the media into covering him
Pehaps they will now.

I have no doubt that his teeth have sunk into that bone and he will not let go.

2. I would just love to stay on Kerry's ass, but
Teresa would bitch slap me for sure.

I'll just hang back and call undecided voters in swing states instead.

3. He won't become complacent
His campaign actually has improved markedly in thr last several weeks, since he brought in those new advisers.

4. I think it is perfectly fine for him to release tension by windsurfing...
or doing whatever leisure activity he needs to do to relax.

None of us can imagine the pressure that he is under. He did a fantastic job last night. Why would anyone think he won't maintain his dominance of Bush in debates?

6. Kerry doesn't need anyone on his ass, he needs the media to cover him
and wind surfing gets him relaxed and helps him do well on the campaign trail.

7. I think this is how John Kerry planned it all along
Everything I've read says that John Kerry is a closer.

I think that he has his eyes on the ball and will not be distracted or disuaded from obtaining his goal.
