Lots of FReepers at FARK, but I still love poking around there. Here's an FR thread somebody linked to where they tied in vain to freep an online poll with over 180,000 responders:

The highlights for those of you who don't like lurking at FR:

Bush 31% Kerry 69%, Come on Freepers you can do better than this.

Even the Democrats did not say that.

Kerry went in having to defend his baggage and the President spoke clearly and honestly.

He had much stronger points and moments, including about his talking with a mother about the death in her family and about how they shared and he knowing his responsibility well.

Now Bush 30%, Kerry 70%. FYI, a whole list of newsite polls are listed on DU right at the top, so a lot of Lefties are slamming the internet polls tonight.

Love this last one. We have 50,000 members, out of which maybe a fifth were online. Maybe it was lots less than that. Anyhoo, we can't DU a poll that big any more than they can freep it. So there.

3. Silly right-wingers can't even win a poll without trying to steal it
Right wingers would rather be "right" than seem sensible.

"Hurry, put this on your email list so that a lot of people who ordinarily wouldn't have voted in this poll will come in and artificially inflate the Bush numbers making people think that Bush is really doing better than he is"

That's the kind of thinking that got us Enron, and still these morons don't realize that the charlatans they're boosting are causing an enourmous amount of suffering in all our lives.

Intelligent people worldwide were impressed with John Kerry's decisiveness and leadership qualities. Dummies really liked what Bush had to say. Period.

Download it here, but make sure it doesn't get into the wrong hands.

7. I wonder...
Did it ever occur to them that we are better organized, more motivated, and quite frankly more "net" savvy ? Naaaa..... I am sure they would never consider such a thing.....
