Another vague reference today by GW Bush |
|
In New Hampshire he mentioned remarks by someone he called "Senator Kerry." In a masochistic triumph, I have studied Bush's speeches during this campaign and that name had not come up. Perhaps Senator Kerry is a vociferous Polish moolah.

4. But I'm sure he has a cutting nickname for both Gore and Kerry |
|
I agree with Paul O'Neill's assessment of those nicknames, just a childish form of intimidation.

3. Good one! There's just one problem... |
|
You used vociferous correctly!
Stop it!
Bush* used it incorrectly (and he used it as an adverb).

5. Sorry, I would need to retreat to 7th grade |
|
Hmmm, knowing what I know now, they were a few lonely girls who developed rather unexpectedly a few years later...
Anyway, did you see the analysis of Bush/Gore/Kerry speech patterns and speaking level on cable TV yesterday? Fascinating. Bush is now speaking at a 7th grade level, proving he has grown in office, up from 6th grade standards during campaign 2000. Gore was estimated at 9th grade level in 2000, with Kerry now dumbing himself down to 10th grade norms after 12th grade level during the primary season.
The study suggested Kerry had intentionally shaved his vocabulary and average words per sentence to keep "up" with Bush, and theoretically win dumbfounded swing voters. Kerry uses 19+ words per sentence compared to 14+ for Bush. His average word has 5+ letters to 4+ for Bush. During the primaries, Kerry reportedly featured 29+ words per sentence at one stretch.
