Wait a minute...There was actually a debate last night?!!!
Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 04:32 PM by LiberalEconomist
Here I was thinking that what I saw last night was a Saturday Night Live spoof with Kerry playing himself and Wil Farrel playing King George. Or, was it a spoof with John Kerry playing himself and Bush playing Wil Farrel? I am so confused!!! That man next to John Kerry is really the President of the United States of America? Really? Noooooo. Couldn't be. Quit kidding me. Really?

In a post 9-11 world, when we need steady leadership we have someone who comes undone under pressure? Someone who becomes flustered? Someone who freezes? Boy oh boy, I don't feel so safe. Do you?

3. I was thinking about this earlier
Kerry was gracious and unflappable last night in spite of the enormous pressure he must've been under, and in spite of Bush's petty sniping. Kerry demonstrated steadiness. I like his reserve - I think it serves him well. Bush is just an overgrown adolescent who can't handle the responsibility of the office he holds.

5. I think it showed that Kerry
has a lot of patience when dealing with someone like Bush which is what you need to be President. Now if the situation was refersed do you think Bush would have done the same? I don't think so. He probably would have been doing the same facial expressions and drinking his water.
