What was under the back of Chimpy's suit jacket, last night?
I don't know how to capture and display a still from RealPlayer but Chimpy had an odd T-shaped bulge beneath the back of his jacket. From about 15:07 to 15:13 on the C-SPAN video, Chimpy is shown from behind, and you can see it.

Anyone have an idea as to what it might be?

11. Well, the earpiece is wireless...
But it is inductive, so it needs a nearby power/signal source. Hence the bulge.

It was originally for the use of the Secret Service in their protective duties, but was take over by Rove for use in feeding words to the inept bumbler.

5. Play the video
And then perss your "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard. Open up whatever graphics program you have, create a new image, and then paste it in.

This is for Windows-based puters of course.

6. I saw it, too. I just assumed
that it had something to do with the mic. I didn't notice if Kerry had a bulge on his back or not.

8. Audio Pack...Wireless Mike
Imagine if the sound had gone out during the debate. Both Kerry & Bunnyants were "double-wired"...two mikes & wireless units as well as the podium mike.

Now if you had spotted wet marks on his trousers, that would be more fun trying to explain.

Cheers!
