Joe Lockhart: You media people should stop reading Drudge
You claim you don't but you know you do. (In response to the media's claim that the debate was a 'draw') Hahahaha.

4. Yes, was great. He was asked about what the pugs response was
going to be and he replied that they would say "it's a draw." So Drudge twisted it that this was Lockhart's opinion.

"you have my phone number" he told Blitzer. "you can call me directly instead of listening to Drudge."

13. I have a newsroom story about Drudge
On another board I frequent one of the posters works in the newsroom of a small conservative family-owned paper. The guy claims to be even-handed but he's just a tick to the left of a freeper. Anyway, he frequently starts threads with negative comments about Kerry or Clinton (sigh - they just won't let go will they).

Twice in recent months he's been challenged on the board for the source of his information, which he always states with absolute certainty. Each time it turns out to be Drudge. Apparently Drudge is considered not only reliable, but an A-list source at this little paper.

And we wonder why Americans are uninformed.

The funniest part: Both were Drudge stories that were immediately proven false and dropped by Drudge within days without comment. Snicker.

15. That was a nice retort to Wolf who quoted some ridiculous
claim about Joe saying the debate was a tie, that apparently came from Drudge. Joe is da man!
