Bush lost his first debate. Now what?
Bush got trounced on his own issue Iraq and Homeland security. Now what is he going to do in the next debate, where Kerry is going to nail him on jobs, outsourcing, medicare cost, medical insurance, gas prices etc. Kerry is going to put him away in the next debate.

going to lose is beyond reality.

4. Is there any chance of Bush really doing that? Wouldn't it be good for
Kerry if he did? Show Bush did so bad that now he is afraid to debate anymore

13. It will even be worse. It looks as though bush has lost his nerve
he was a cowering chimp last night. His whole cha cha was this Iraq war thing and he couldn't put together two words that made sense. so how is he going to talk about jobs and the economy?

(assuming there will be another debate)

I'll bet $5 right now that Bush will do everything he can to get Kerry on the defensive. But if Bush couldn't get Kerry on the defensive about the IWR vote, then he's going to have absolutely no chance when the topic is domestic policy.

Bush will attack early next time to try to throw Kerry off his game. After seeing Kerry last night, I don't think Bush can say or do anything to make Kerry break his composure...I swear Bush could literally shoot Kerry and Kerry would STILL appear stoic on that stage.

When the early attacks don't work, Bush will resort to emotional arguments. He'll probably bring up God and if he's very desperate, he'll have the audacity to bring up abortion. (I say bring it on...undecided voters and independents don't respond to the same traps that the republican base falls for).

Once the emotional arguments begin, the Bushism, stumbling, sinking into the podium, and "uh's" begin. And that's a beautiful thing. :)

15. Shrubby is scared shitless of Kerry.
When he something scares him, he wants out. Just like in the Texas Air National Guard. The only problem is that he can't go and work on a senate campaign in Alabama this time. Rove and company will make him show up in St. Louis, but he's a scared puppy now and it will just get worse.

17. I expect Kerry's poll numbers to jump ahead of Bush
and if 2nd & 3rd debate goes this way, I expect
a landslide for Kerry on november 2nd, almost
of equal magnitude to Reagan's first landslide.
I don't think anyone in my lifetime will exceed
Reagan's 2nd landslide..with Mondale winning what
only Minnesota and Massachusetts?

Right now shrub is playing up the whole thing about needing world permission to defend ourselves. I know it's not what Kerry said but I think we can turn it against shrub. When we "turned over sovereignty" to Iraq Bush said if Illawi asked us to leave we would. Isn't this in effect needing Illawi's permission to stay in Iraq. What happens if an "unfriendly" gets elected does that mean we have to leave if asked. Which is it do we need permission or don't we.
