Paula Zahn CNN is a POS - 302 EV favor of Bush

She interviews a Republican congressman, tossing him softballs one by one and letting him rebut every Kerry point from the Debate last night.

Then she trots out a Democract and starts hammering him to defend polling results. She threw up an Electoral Vote map that showed Bush with 302 Electoral Votes, way ahead of Kerry. Her map was also all Red vs. Blue, no close states were shown, no margin of error.

She attacked the Democrat saying that we don't know that the debate will even change anyones opinions. She didn't give him a chance to grill Bush over any of the points he scored in the debate against Kerry.

I got sick of watching at that point. Anyone watch the rest of this trash?

3. Well, that certainly explains a lot of Zahn's surly attitude toward Dems.

8. Doesn't stand the Google test...
Says her father was an IBM sales executive and the family moved around a lot when she was a child. Doesn't name her father, but if it were Pete Wilson, I think it would have.

2. Not worth getting lathered up about
This thing's going down to the wire, and we're going to win.

4. I stopped watching her several months ago when she trashed Kerry
When she first started making critical remarks about how Kerry talks (without allowing viewers to actually hear him) I absolutely refused to watch her again. In fact, I don't watch any of CNN besides Lou Dobbs and Larry King now and then.

5. Well, the fact checking...
...seems to be at least attempting to be even-handed. They seem to be trashing both candidates. David Ensor just said Bush was wrong about what he said with regard to China and North Korea. So it's not definitely anti-Kerry.

12. Their fact checking was horrible last night

After we DU'ed their fact article into oblivion they pulled themselves together. I cannot imagine how slanted it would have been otherwise.

6. that's the opposite of news

News for Paula Zahn would be giving Democrats an even break.

I have no idea how Bush plausibly gets 302 EVs together other than use Gallup polls that skew 5-7% Republican.

And even if she's right, that the debate changed no one's opinion, our side has 52% support in the electorate at equal turnout. We don't need to care.
