A Comeback for Republicans' Spin
A guy at work who is not very political, and a "swing voter" gave me a great line today unknowingly.

He said, "Man, I listened to those debates on the radio, and the thing that REALLY scared me was when I realized that Bush sounds this stupid AND HE ACTUALLY SPENT TIME PREPARING FOR THIS DEBATE!!! He's a moron"

So anyway, that was my battlecry for the rest of the day. Whenever a Republican said "Bush blah blah, I just say, man he sounded THAT bad after PREPARING for THIS! How bad is he when he doesn't prepare? No one had an answer for it.

1. The problem was he only studied 5 talking points which
he tried to work into every answer, whether they were relevant or not. My daughter kept asking me if there was something wrong with him.

2. For your daughter's sake
(and for everyone else's, even freepers'), I hope we can get a real President - one we won't have to apologize for - into the White House on Nov. 2.

4. HAHA - great!
Yeah, I live in freeper-ville in suburbian North Eastern New Jersey and it's insane. Frickin 7 more chimpy signs in the last 2 weeks - we still got about 5 kerry signs though to balance it out a bit (including mine!). Anyway, they all say that Bush won, and there's no way. I talked about his huge pauses and all, and now I will use the above line!

Welcome to DU!

6. Supposedly Bush prepared for 6 months and memorized Kerry's record
That's what I heard by several talking heads in the media before the debate, so I wondered if there might be a surprise or two in an attempted knock out punch by Bush, but all he could remember about Kerry was his "mixed messages" about the "wrong war" and the "87 billion"! Pathetic

7. Bush is now drowning in his own talking points.
