On "The Simpsons" tonight
Lisa had her own little newspaper and Mr. Burns tried everything in his power to take away her freedom of the press. Sounds familiar? At the end Lisa came out of course and then everybody in the town started their own paper.

2. Almost every Simpson's episode seems to be SLAMMING the
right wingers lately. Beautiful. :) They openly mock Murdoch at EVERY given opportunity... I've even caught anti-Murdoch moments in OLD episodes, from before I've ever heard of him! I just hope they keep it up...

7. No it wasn't
I remember seeing it before. But I could so relate to it. And Skinner offered to let Lisa use his hand copier. At the end after Lisa won everybody in town had their own paper. Lenny's paper had a special feature on why Carl was so great. LOL. I always wonder about Lenny with Carl.

8. What does the statement,
"after Lisa came out" mean? I stopped watching TV about 10 years ago, so I'm a little out of the loop. Is Lisa a lesbian?

10. No, I think it just means that she won against Burns
As in "came out on top."

Does anyone else think Dick Cheney was the prototype for Mr. Burns?

11. That is a good one.
That's from 2nd season I think...hard to believe it was over a decade ago. :)

They've had episodes that featured the elections for governor and mayor, but I'm hoping they do another election episode somehow using Rainier Wolfcastle to parody Arnold's election.

"Nice shirt. It makes you look like a homosexual. Perhaps you are all homosexuals!"

"My new film is a mixture of action und comedy. It's called McBain: Let's Get Silly. The film is just me in front of a brick wall for an hour and a half. It cost eighty million dollars."
