I canvassed for the first time tonight |
|
We were going house to house in a neighborhood that was mostly independent. We were pleased to find out that most of our independents were for Kerry with a few undecided, most of those leaning Kerry. Several said they decided last night during the debate.
It was fun talking to people and let's face it, Kerry's debate performance made it better.

2. I registered voters for the first time today.... |
|
We were of course not allowed to ask people who they were voting for, but out of the 17 people I registered I'd bet no more than a couple were Bushbots. Many people of color, several young men, one 88 year old woman, brought by her daughter, who had never voted before.

You'll find the more you canvass, the more you'll want to do it.
Excellent!
