I just e-mailed the Kerry campaign about BCCI

I begged and pleaded for them to use it, as it would singlehandedly win them the election. I know Limbaugh fanatics that are impressed with this. This would be the nail in the coffin. Kerry should use it fast, before Rove figures out a way to spin out of it.

If I don't get a reasonable reply, I'm calling them day after day.

Kerry mentions is subtlely in his speeches and even in the debates. When he mentions attacking the financing of the terrorists this is what he means.

Don't worry...this will come out, but we don't want to play this Ace until about 10 days to 2 weeks before the election. I would suggest this is a good time so as to make it completely through the filter and back to truth again.

the Sandinista Contra thing? Where Kerry was trying to stop Reagan from funding the Contras in fighting the Sandinista? I think Tom Harkin helped Kerry with this--they fought hard to keep the Sandinistas from being destroyed by RayGun.

This is a pretty good issue--it was a great issue in the 1980's in that Kerry was fighting against HATED people at the time--Reagan and Ollie North. This may not be as good now--because the reputations of Ollie and Reagan seem to have been rehabilitated quite a bit by the RWers. Also, we did lose in the end--Kerry stopped some of the money from reaching the Contras--but the Sandinista government fell in the end anyway? But trying to stop the money from being used to fight that illegal war was a pretty good thing anyway.

Another good point is that Kerry did everything in his power to stop Raygun from doing that illegal war in the first place. This shows he is not a flip flopper--he has been against illegal wars throughout his lifetime.

Usama Bimn Laden had an account there. In fact, Kerry had Salem Bin Laden put under arrest for his participation with these criminal networks while George W. Bush was DOING BUSINESS WITH HIM, selling his Harken shares to Bin Laden for a huge profit.

BCCI was a terrorists' bank and it was being aided in the coverup by the Bush administration. Kerry was the first lawmaker to go after terrorism and its funding.

BCCI money was used to bribe and blackmail politicians worldwide, both liberal Democrat but especially conservative Republican. Worst of all, money from BCCI was used to build Pakistan's H-bomb, apparently with the full knowledge of then-president George Herbert Walker Bush.

In the early 1990s, then-private citizen George Walker Bush, son of the president, benefited financially from BCCI. The bank helped fund at least one of his failed oil exploration ventures.

W’s Texas Air National Guard friend, James R Bath, was reported to be a director of BCCI. Bath was kicked off the Texas ANG flight line, along with his fellow officer Bush Jr, who also was involved with BCCI through the bin Laden family.

The bank was protected by politicians the world over, including members of both parties in the United States. The record shows BCCI bought influence at the highest levels of the US Government, establishing a base of operations with the help Clark Clifford and those close to Jimmy Carter on the Democratic side.

BCCI did even BIGGER Business with the Repukes, using the services of Henry Kissinger and his crowd — and wherever there's a Kissinger, a Bush won't be far behind. Of course, president George HW Bush did all he could to bury the BCCI Affair. It was personal, after all, it involving his sons, family and closest friends and business associates all the way from the Middle East to Texas.

What America needs to learn: As a Freshman, Senator Kerry tried to do something about it. What's weird is how few Democrats supported him then. Democrats and free-thinking Americans can make up for “then” now. It may be our last chance.
