OK, which battleground states are using Diebold |
|
or other BBV? I'm wondering if BBV is prevalent enough for * to steal the election? And the reason I'm wondering it is because I think an honest election would be a landslide for Kerry.

1. Not Nevada; I believe we went with Sequoia + the voter-verified papertrail |
|
We'll see what all that gets us...

3. Good for you Nev. Why not insist on paper trails everywhere? |
|
Does not every state require the ability or some provision for recount? How can you recount the total is ####?

6. Some in Congress have been demanding just that; Some states are trying... |
|
...Others are hemming and hawing at best, flat-out rejecting calls for proper safeguards at worst (unless you factor in the risk of digital vote-rigging).

use different types of voting machines. I'm in Pennsylvania. In my hometown, they still use those punchcard (CHADS!) machines. Where I live, they use the old-fashioned voting machines ... pull the lever to close the curtain, punch down the little lever. Very low-tech.
Anyway ... various states may have Diebold in one town and something else a few towns away.

There will be seven of 88 counties using Diebold voting machines. One is Franklin County, the capital. Kind of neutral. Four others run down the center of the state under Franklin and are also neutral. The other two are one Republican and the other democrat. It's as if they tried to find a mix. I expect funny business, but I can't figure out the plan.

I posted a conspiracy theory about these bullshit polls and paperless voting awhile back. If they do try and steal it, I think they would have to look to Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Evil, arrogant, media controlling bastards that they are, they would HAVE to be concerned about trying that shit in too many states- and it would have to be a battleground state (If they announce that Bush won California or New York there will be rioting). Pennsylvania has a Democrat Governor- hopefully able to trim the sails of any wannabe Katherine "shit-bag" Harris waiting in the wings. Somebody posted back that Ohio has 4 counties using BBV's, and a peice of shit Repug secretary of state. Florida is- well- Florida. They can try it, but it would be even more dangerous than 2000's electoral theft.
