Twice in one night on CNN.
Pundits are subconsciously fitting Kerry into the uber president archtype of John F Kennedy.
happened on Aaron Brown and on Zahn tonight.

3. I wrote JFK, our next president |
|
on my wipe-off message board on my cube today, and I was surprised how many people didn't realized they had the same initials. It seemed to strike people as very fitting.

4. I don't even think they're trying to. |
|
They know in their heart of hearts that Kerry would take his place amongst the greatest men to hold that position, and they can't have that. So no matter what they spin, deep down the truth is known.

John Kennedy was considered the winner on television in his debate with Richard Nixon. On radio, more people felt that Nixon had the upper hand. This time, Kerry was the clear winner in BOTH mediums.

9. I think it's more of dig (Senator Kenn... Kerry) at Ted |
|
They're both liberal senators from Massachusets and the GOP has demonized all of those things, pounding that talking point into the media.
Or maybe it's simply because they're both long time senators from Massachusetts with last names starting with "K".
There's so much bias in the media right now that it's hard to tell honest mistake from intentional dig.

to have pundits make the mistake to remind viewers of Ted Kennedy....would be nice if they are actually thinking JFK though...
